The project aims to prevent and combat the occurrence of discrimination and / or violence against individuals for whom gender identity does not coincide with sexual identity. The goal is twofold:
● protect these individuals on a social level, by intervening in the school environment ● make this protection more effective also at the legislative level.
OBJECTIVE 1:
Create moments of knowledge, awareness and training for educators, making them adequately capable of managing situations of violence and intolerance against LGBT students in class.
Results:
Online course exploring the gender identity issues, bullyism prevention and consequences, civil rights and law.
Production of accurate and in-depth learning materials.
Workshops
OBJECTIVE 2:
Increase citizens' awareness on problems faced by LGBT students in school.
Results:
Communication and dissemination of projects activities and results through website and social media.
The project has been carried out in partnership with AGEDO, The association of parents, relatives and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people which has as main objective the fight against homotransphobia and hate speech, especially in schools. Adele managed the communication activity of the project and organized the online course and the workshop in Bulgaria on 25 and 26 March 2023.
